Alexis Duecker is a dedicated immigration attorney with a deep commitment to serving immigrants and asylum seekers. Her interest in immigration law began during law school through an internship with the Refugee Resettlement department at Lutheran Children and Family Services, where she worked with newly admitted refugees in Philadelphia.
Throughout her career, Alexis has developed a strong focus on Central American asylum claims, provisional unlawful presence waivers, and bond hearings. She brings experience from boutique immigration firms and nonprofit legal organizations, including service as Executive Director at Esperanza Immigration Legal Services and Immigration Law & Justice of the Delaware Valley.
Education and professional background
Alexis graduated from Barnard College and the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Alexis values personal connections with her clients and strives to provide representation that is both compassionate and well informed. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, cooking, and exploring local farmers markets.
