Alexis Duecker

Alexis Duecker is a dedicated immigration attorney with a deep commitment to serving immigrants and asylum seekers. Alexis' passion for immigration law was sparked during law school through an impactful internship with the Refugee Resettlement department at Lutheran Children and Family Services, where she worked with newly admitted refugees in Philadelphia. This early experience set the foundation for a distinguished career advocating for vulnerable populations.

Throughout her professional journey, Alexis has developed a strong focus on Central American asylum claims, provisional unlawful presence waivers, and bond hearings. She brings a wealth of experience from both boutique immigration firms and leading non-profit legal organizations, including her roles as Executive Director at Esperanza Immigration Legal Services and Immigration Law & Justice of the Delaware Valley. Her practice has consistently centered on advocating for immigrants’ rights, particularly in complex asylum cases.

Alexis is a graduate of Barnard College and the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, and she is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania. A member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, she is fluent in Spanish and has studied German and Arabic, allowing her to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Alexis is passionate about making personal connections with her clients and providing compassionate, informed representation. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and exploring local farmers markets.
